Cody Kamikaze (Kaze) is a music producer based out of Columbia, South Carolina. A violinist since the age of 8, Kaze learned to play guitar from his father during his early years and is currently learning piano technique. He began producing hip hop, rap, and trap beats using a DAW and MIDI keyboard in 2016. Kaze had worked as a civil engineer for 3 years until August of 2019, where he left his steady job to pursue music full time. He is currently building a brand (Kazebeat) that revolves around empowering and motivating other artists to pursue their passions as well. A few of Kaze's musical inspirations are Jazz, Atlanta Trap, and artists such as Kanye West, J. Cole, Gunna, Roddy Ricch, Mac Miller, A$AP Rocky, John Mayer, Itzhak Perlman, and Kendrick Lamar.
