Afrofuturistic beats? think afro-brazilian rhythms, 808 bass lines, wide kicks, synths, African samplers and live instruments... K'boko started his musical journey learning by playing in the streets of Northeast Brazil. This experience with musical groups and masters gave him a vast knowledge of different musical traditions such as Samba, Maracatu, Côco de Roda, Jongo, Candomblé Rhythms, all coming from this colorful rhythmic country. Living in Berlin for the last 15 years, K'boko combines the organic Afro-Brazillian roots with modern/digital/electronic musical influences of this multicultural city.
