Keith Fiala is an Austin Winds endorsed trumpet artist, and one of the most exciting, innovative, and versatile trumpet players and educators/clinicians on the music scene today.
Originally from Des Moines, Iowa, Fiala moved to Austin, Texas in 1988 to study music performance at the University of Texas with Raymond Crisara, who was the principal trumpet with the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra from 1941 to 1943.
A First Call trumpeter in Austin and throughout the Lone Star State, Keith co- founded, and was a performer with, the celebrated R&B group, Memphis Train Revue. Fiala toured the world performing with his mentor, the legendary trumpeter and bandleader, Maynard Ferguson.
In 2017, Keith joined his long-time hero, ten-time Grammy® winner, Arturo Sandoval, to assist him in all facets of his amazing career. Keith assisted Arturo as road manager, audio engineer, video producer, as well as performing on stage.
