Emerging independent artist Kelly Cresswell is a self-taught musician from North-West England who took up playing guitar and piano, along with songwriting and music production in 2020 as a form of escapism. An NHS Nurse by trade, she has been entertaining online audiences during the pandemic by live streaming on social media sites such as Facebook and Instagram, and has gained a large following. A candid and competent performer, Cresswell has a unique vocal style and likes to create music that crosses genres. She writes from the heart and takes inspiration from every day life experiences, crafting beautiful songs that are now being enjoyed by a growing audience. Kelly began releasing music in June 2021 and her debut single 'Try' - a soulful blues rock ballad featuring Liverpool guitarist Colin Guthrie has been well received by the musical community and Cresswell's many followers. Kelly describes herself as a forty something Mum on a musical mission! One to watch :)
