Dar es salaam

Icy Yeye is the alter ego of Kelvin Taylor, a Tanzanian Afro-mellow artist blending raw emotion with sonic elegance. Rooted in East African rhythm but guided by global vision, Icy Yeye’s sound is spiritual, cinematic, and unapologetically expressive. With a voice that cuts through silence and lyrics that echo the soul, he creates music that speaks for the unspoken—music for the warriors, the dreamers, and the broken-hearted. Born from personal evolution and artistic rebellion, Icy Yeye is more than an artist—he’s a symbol. The raven is his emblem, representing transformation, mystery, and the unkind beauty of life. His growing movement, The Conspiracy, is a loyal collective of fans and creatives who believe in the power of real stories, divine connection, and independent artistry. With songs like “Warrior” and “Kama Wewe,” Icy Yeye is carving a lane that’s emotionally deep and sonically fresh—blending Swahili soul, mellow Afrobeats, and experimental storytelling.
