I’m a guitar player who has had the pleasure of performing in a variety of platforms, from solo instrumental work to full band situations. While I enjoy playing covers, my preference has always been to play original music. My current platform is to write and record two track loops of acoustic guitar music. I love this format because of the musical simplicity, purity of the sound, and the challenge to create individual pieces which have uniqueness while sharing a common instrumental tone, timbre and texture. I also like that I can replicate this music live as a solo artist, though it is rare that my live versions sound exactly the same as the recorded versions. There is typically some variation due to the mood of the moment.
