Now located in Burbank, California, Walker majored in composition at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, studying composition with George Akerley and minoring in piano under the tutelage of concert pianist Annette DiMedio, Ph.D. During his senior year in Philadelphia, he attended a seminar at Curtis Institute of Music given by two-time Grammy and Oscar winner for best film score, John Corigliano. After the seminar, Mr. Corigliano invited Walker to continue studying privately with him as he continued to pursue a Masters degree at the City University of New York. His clients are well served because of his vast knowledge and musical education; his experience and ability to interpret his collaborators needs from start to finish is an asset to any project.
