With their low-fi beats and edgy lyrical content starting with the EP release Life of a Functional Addict in 2022, British LGBTQ singer, songwriter Konstigo is growing their following via tiktok where they began by sharing their recovery journey. Ryan’s music varies greatly from Hiphop/Low-fi to Punk with their greatest influences being Ariana Grande, Doja Cat, King Princess, Kiana Lede, Lana Del Rey, Mitski, & Billie Eilish. Their biggest aspiration is to reach the top of the charts. Ryan’s achieved 2 degrees in Philosophy and Psychology by age 23 and are preparing to apply for a PhD. But it’s not been an easy road for Ryan as they’ve spoken publicly about their struggles with Bipolar, OCD, a Personality Disorder, and addiction. Whilst being an autistic female with ADHD has hindered their opportunities, it has also provided Ryan with the ability to create art that speaks to the neurodiverse community in a way that is rarely seen in the music industry.
