Kathryn Reynolds is an accomplished writer, published poet, and commercial and fine art photographer, recognized as National Photography Association Advertising Photographer of the Year in 2004. With a background in English literature and religious studies, her work integrates original writing and original songs created in parallel with her photographic series, Zachary Reynolds: The Father I Never Knew. What began as a body of documentary self-portrait photography has since expanded into a cinematic, video-style documentary, weaving together music, narrative, archival material, and visual art to explore the life, legacy, and spirit of her late father, Zachary “Zach” Reynolds. Through this multidisciplinary approach, Reynolds transforms personal history into an immersive storytelling experience that examines loss, inheritance, and identity.
