Kris Blade is a Filipino-Canadian rapper, graphic artist, and creative designer based in Vancouver, BC. Born in Tondo, Manila, and raised in Biñan, Laguna, his work is a dynamic blend of his vibrant Filipino roots and the North American cultural landscape. As one half of the rap duo Toxic Slime, Kris Blade delivers powerful music characterized by raw energy and intricate lyricism. Heavily inspired by the hardcore, golden-era sound of Mobb Deep, Wu-Tang Clan, and Sean Price, his passion for hip-hop and visual arts—including digital collage and photo editing—cement him as a distinctive and multifaceted force in the creative scene.
