Lack of a Carrier is as independent as music gets. I'm Ryan Doucette (23, Syracuse, NY) and Lack of a Carrier is my platform to release my music. Everything you hear is all me. I write and record everything myself. When I was younger I had dreams about being in a band and writing my own music. One summer I got bored and decided to buy a bass just to mess around with. That stemmed into learning guitar and building a studio in my basement. With a main background in drumset and percussion, I bring a unique perspective to sound and songwriting. Lack of a Carrier brings the grit of punk rock and hardcore and the twinkly ambiance of alternative and emo together. With aggressive drums, sparkly and crunchy guitar riffs, and lyricism build from my life experiences, Lack of a Carrier is a sound you didn't know you needed to hear.
