Lakitah

Lakitah is a concept created by singer and guitarist Dominika Zdrodowski and founded 2015 in Berlin. Though most of the lyrics and songs have been created by Dominika, Lakitah embraces more than only one person, it is the sum of all people from different places that have contributed to creating the music. While the first album called Bricks of Little Hopes started off acousticly within a mix of Blues, Jazz, Rock and Pop, a second side has been created during the pandemic and is called Lakitah goes Trip Hop and is a collab between the singer and different beatmakers. It is also darker and deeper than "Bricks of Little Hopes". It´s about being brave to go deep and shine light on places that most people are scared to go, being true to yourself, being free and focusing on the human essence of life and authenticity. About the freedom and courage to find out who you really are and translate it into sound.
