Delano van Wyk, better known as "Lano V." was born on December 11 2001 and grew up in Alberton, Gauteng. He became interested in music after listening to artists like Chris Brown, The Weeknd and Eminem. At the age of 14 he started writing songs about his life and created rhymes from them. At the age of 16 he recorded and released his first single "Dark Side". Lano V. has evolved his music immensely throughout his career and that is much to credit of artists like Cordae, Saba, J.I.D, and Joyner Lucas who reveal their life stories through their music and so encourage him to do the same. Lano V. now continues his music career as an independent artist, taking notes and learning about the industry on a daily basis, hoping one day to sign to a major label and become a great success.
