I am a British singer-songwriter and actress who has been telling stories for as long as I can remember. Having stepped into a stage before I could speak, performing has always been part of my life. My world revolves around music, theatre, film and writing, with a fascination for human nature, complicated emotions and the little moments that can stay with us for years. A natural over-thinker with an imaginative mind, I turn the things I feel, notice and dream into songs, using songwriting as another way to explore the stories that interest me. My creativity is not confined by one medium; whether I am inhabiting a character, developing an idea or putting my own words into music, I am always looking for new ways to make something meaningful.
