Leigh Sloggett’s earthy song writing and commanding style extend beyond the diverse foundations of Blues and Folk. Evocative timbres and a soulful touch are brought together by searing roots guitar and lap slide. Leigh has three albums to his name with his fourth titled ‘Wait for the Change’ planned for release on the 21 Oct 2022. He has toured internationally and has been performing consistently over the past 18 years building a reputation as a unique song writing and guitarist. In 2014 The Leigh Sloggett Duo were finalists MBAS Blues Challenge. Leigh’s 2012 album ‘More Than I Need’ went on to reach number 8 on the Australian Blues and Roots charts with radio airplay around Australia, most prominently on ABC Radio National’s program, ‘The Inside Sleeve’ as well as on many stations across America.
