Loriah was born in Sweden and grew up surrounded by music. Since her move to London in 2015 she has gained an unprecedented following in London's live music scene. Pioneering a new-wave "funky-soul", her sound can best be described as a fusion of R&B, Soul & Funk. Her raw, lyrical-heavy music has earned Loriah the chances of playing at renowned venues across London such as the Jazz Café, Ronnie Scott's, Hootananny Brixton and O2 Shepherds Bush Empire. Her independently released and self-produced EP "Moving House" was released on November 26, 2018. Her sophomore EP 'The Garden' is produced, mixed and mastered by Loriah and her song Purify Your Sight was played on BBC radio 2 Jazz Show with Jamie Cullum and also on BBC Radio London. So Far Away was featured on BBC Introducing.
