I’m Louise O’Flanagan, an Irish singer-songwriter and composer from Limerick. I create intimate, spacious acoustic and indie-folk music shaped by lyrical storytelling, melody and honest reflection.
Music has been part of my life since childhood. I began piano at around four and was creating melodies and words before I understood that I was writing songs. Across a decade in international management and more than thirty years of songwriting, music remained a place to explore the tender parts of being human.
My debut single, Crooked Crown, asks: “Can I be loved (unconditional self-love), even when my best is imperfect?” Moving from self-doubt towards acceptance and compassion, it opens Where the Heart Listens, a six-song project I recognise as conversations with the heart.
I call these songs Soul Lullabies—not answers or instructions, but companionship. Once a song reaches another person, it begins a relationship of its own.
