Mary Catherine Rounsavall is a singer/songwriter, Grammy-nominated music educator, award-winning international composer, choral director, pianist, and worship leader. Ms Rounsavall earned her Bachelors of Art in Music for Vocal Music Performance and a Masters of Art in Teaching. In 2012, she debuted an album of original songs (under the name of Mary Ott), released an album of hymns with jazz pianist Stacy Bearden, and released multiple singles of songs and compositions that she has written and performed. She has taught music both privately and publicly since 2004 and has been the director for children's and adult choirs for many years. Her experience also includes being on staff as a church accompanist and also as worship leader/music director. Using her Kodaly certification, she has taught general music at South Beauregard Elementary since 2010. In addition, Ms Rounsavall has taught private piano, flute, voice, and violin since 2003.
