MD Stokes, born Marlon D. Stokes, is a Songwriter, Producer, Musician, and Engineer. Born to humble beginnings, he grew up between Colia Mississippi and Agusta Georgia. Stokes belonged to a Military family, which allowed him to travel the world. These travels allowed him to incorporate many different cultures and methodologies, into his musical stylings which he always considered to be down south. This cultural diversity mixed with what came from Mississippi and Georgia made MD one of the most sought-after producers of Gospel Music. With a deep reverence for music's transformative power, MD Stokes sees it as an uplifting force capable of evoking a myriad of emotions. He considers it a divine gift bestowed upon musicians, granting them the privilege to communicate through this universal language.
