M.J. Olden is a rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer based in the Washington, DC area. M.J. began his music career at the age of 14, writing and arranging original material with his church choir, but it was also around this time he discovered a passion for rap music and golden age hip hop. While honing his craft, he was a 2nd place winner in Coast2Coast Mixtape's DMV Showcase in 2015, releasing his first official single, "FTW" on the Coast2Coast Winner's Circle mixtape in March of 2018. In February of 2019, he began performing in local venues such as Takoma Station Tavern, making the rounds and proving he was a top tier artist and performer. In December of 2019, M.J. released his debut album, Imitation Of Life, under his independent label, HomeBASS Entertainment. He followed up with a sophomore album, Life As We Know It, in May of 2021. As of January 2022, he is currently working on an EP under the working title OldenMania.
