MOD is a 1st generation South African of Nigerian descent, raised in the Eastern townships of Johannesburg where growing up with 3 other siblings to a single mother and an absent father carved the foundation for a journey that harbored plenty of trials and tribulations, the pressure to grow up quickly, provide for his family while also navigating adulthood and self-development independent of a positive male role model. Through sports, love, books and music MOD found his spark and has sort to fan this flame with the promise to lean in to the gift of creativity and never shying away from doing hard things, guided by the goal of becoming the man he never had growing up.
