Steven E. Wilson, MD always wanted to be a songwriter (if he couldn’t play 3rd base for the LA Dodgers). Instead he became a world-renowned Refractive and Corneal Surgeon and vision researcher at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH. Along the way, he also became an award-winning action-adventure novelist, authoring four novels, including The Stone Waverly Trilogy (Winter in Kandahar, Ascent From Darkness, and The Benghazi Affair) and The Ghosts of Anatolia that are available on Amazon, Audible and iTunes. Now that he’s retired from medicine and science in 2025, he’s turned his attention back to the music he has always loved! On November 20, 2025, his first album “Meteors in Paradise“ produced by himself using his copyrighted lyrics and SUNO ai music dropped on iTunes, Spotify and other music platforms. Some of the lyrics were written in the late 1970s, with one song, “Without You”, winning honorable mention at the American Song Festival. Most other songs were written recently.
