Melvin Rice (born June 14th, 1994) known professionally as Scooby Dew is a Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe member Hip/Hop artist & a very first Native American Paranormal Investigator who was born and raised in Prescott, Arizona. Melvin had a lot of support from his family members and his friends from making music. Melvin started making music in 2005 and took a break in 2020 after his father Ted Gustavo Rice passing in March 7th, 2020. While taking a break in music Melvin has been going to haunted locations such as (Angelina Grave, Old HWY 89A, Jerome Grand Hotel, Wild West Junction, Hotel Monte Vista, Museum of Indigenous People, & Prescott Center of Arts Theater). Melvin was born and raised in Prescott, AZ. He went to school at Prescott High School from 2012-2014. Melvin had a lot of talents while growing up and going to school. When he was in kindergarten to middle school he done stage acting and really loved it. Melvin found out his father can draw an amazing art while growing up
