Mariannes first sang with bands 40 years ago. In his youth, she studied classical singing alongside country, rock and pop bands. After the bands she has moved all over Finland, all the way to Oulu, and for six months all over Norway. There have been recording contracts and with it the release of the vinyl LP "Mary-Ann "Silver Blue" in 1983, the single & maxi single "Muovinukke" in 1985 and the CD "Marianne Saari "Still Alive" in 2014 which was made and released in Italy. She has experienced a passing publicity in the 80s. There have been many kinds of luck and misfortune along the way and you will not give up. She has been given a second chance when 5 years ago Juha (Kristian) Kontu started making new music for her. An EP of 7 songs has been released. "Kulkija" was released on 18.11.2022.
