Her music influence come from tswana tradition and cultures,folkores and borankana styles blended with a wide variety of other Batswana favorites such as gospel and marabi. She has been praised and recognized as Botswana's traditional music icon,Thari ya sechaba, Diaomond of Botswana and lastly as the BRENDA FASSIE of Botswana, since she has a tone similar to the late RSA Pop star. The local corporate world in fact, was quick to appreciate Maxy KhoiSan 's value as a marketing tool by tapping into her talent for educational and promotional campaigns.
