Nkosinathi Mbotshane, known by his stage name as Kingsolo, is a South African amapiano musician, singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Potcheefstroom, Northwest province (born on 19 November 1981) Kingsolo started to write his music with kwaito and hip hop, years ago before amapiano genre appears in music industry. Kingsolo established his own record label Kingsolo Records. Kingsolo released a hit single called Potchefstroom featuring Nsoul to represent his town called Potchefstroom in the Northwest province. A song Potchefstroom has a rhythm to entertain and fuses rap with amapiano, the Kingsolo name came from the former colleagues that loved his music and they took it from his unreleased song KING SOLOMON. The Potchefstroom hit maker released two collabos called (Shebeleza in 2022) and (Impilo in 2023) with Kador and Mthandisi, back then his stage name was Sirius. Kingsolo fell in love with music at young age while he was known playing soccer in his neighbourhood
