Micah Dearstone is a singer/songwriter from Greeneville, Tn. He left Tennessee after high school for a six year enlistment in Unite States Air Force, before returning home to his Appalachian roots. His lyrics carry the weight of real life experiences, and his songs capture the emotions he felt. His songs range from soothing and melodic to dynamic and powerful to convey the emotion and feelings from which they were written. Micah's musical influences span multiple genres, ranging from country to classic rock to grunge to folk to Americana. In an industry that likes to put labels on music, and place it in an oversimplified box (genre), his music focuses on authenticity over mainstream categorization. After years of playing in numerous bands, Micah branched out on his own. He recently released his first four song EP, and is currently hitting the live scene in between writing and recording.
