Gustavo Rodriguez, is from a small west Texas town of Sterling City TX. He is a bilingual singer-songwriter/producer with a passion for creating diverse, uplifting music. Inspired by his early days as a poet, he picked up the guitar soon after high school, and eventually started blending poetry with his catchy melodies where he took notice as a singer songwriter. In Austin, TX, the “Live Music Capital of the World”, his talents flourished, leading to the formation of his bands, including Los Locos and later the Gustavo Rodriguez Band. His music spans a variety of genres, with lyrics touching on social justice, cultural diversity, and love, all without profanity. "Flores" marks his latest single, following his 2011 debut album, "The Color of Your Eyes." Keep an ear out for his upcoming original music!
