Kaylen Productions was formed in 2006 by singer-songwriter Karen (Kai Kai) Jones, and musician-producer Luke (Lenny Apollo) Robbins. Their first endeavor created Kai Kai's debut album 'Throw Your Hands Up,' available on all digitial outlets. Both Kai Kai and Lenny Apollo have toured internationally throughout their music careers.
Kai Kai, a native of Tulsa, OK, began performing at the age of 2 in front of her family—holding a fork in her hands as a microphone, wearing her mother's spiked heel shoes, and nightgown dresses. Her first public performance was as a teenager with her uncle's band, Summit. She later became a member of the international touring band The Honey B's where she performed and/or recorded with several great producers and R&B artists such as Charlie Wilson (Gap Band), Cherelle, Bigg Robb, Lester Troutman, Zapp Band, Jonathan "Sugarfoot" Moffett (drummer for Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5), Sue Ann Carwell (Prince's artist), and many more. Later in life she was th
