President Mega Biography Megrasie Medley is a Jamaican Reggae/Dancehall Deejay, Songwriter, Producer and Promoter better known as "President Mega" and originally known as Mega Killa as a homage to "Bounty Killer". Mega was born in a small district between "Wakefield" and "bunkers hill" known as "Friendship" in the parish of Trelawny, Jamaica. He was introduced to dancehall music at an early age, When he first heard the music of "Papa San" and Charlie Chaplin to name a few. As a child he attended the Wakefield Primary School, Where he first began showing interest of becoming a deejay. Upon his entry to Muschett High School He decided music is what he wanted to do and started writing and performing at various school concerts under the name "Grasshopper". A name that was given to him by a childhood friend. Whenever a new sound system or known event was in his community. He would be the one to called upon to entertain.
