MehOne is a Los Angeles based DJ/Producer with a horrible metabolism. MehOne has always had a passion for music and undying love for Hip Hop Samples since first hearing “Mentirosa" by Mellow Man Ace debut on LA’s FM airwaves in 1990. His passion was at first forbidden and was denied the right to listen “Hip Hop/Urban“ music. Despite the strict parental control, MehOne would never miss a beat due to his clandestine daily routine. As a youth, MehOne would record his favorite songs off the radio and sell cassette mixtapes to his friends in elementary. MehOne sees music as a big puzzle: always searching for the connections between songs as well as seeing what tunes piece together, regardless of the genre. Born and raised in Los Angeles, MehOne uses the city as inspiration for his mixes - as he is always searching for hidden gems from soul music to recuerdos. Currently when not digging up gems, MehOne can be found hosting his program “We Dig LA” on Friday nights at Midnight on KQBH 101.5 FM
