Based in Switzerland Tom Mendy is a multi instrumentist who led various band. Educated in jazz music he plays mainly doublebass, bass, gypsy jazz guitar, voice and keyboard. He created and played in various gypsy jazz band (Swing High, Les manchots, Xwing) recorded with various artist in Spain, France and Switzerland. Nowaday he developped a style where he mix doublebass while singing, inspired by Slam Stewart mixed with popular french songs and funk music. When he returned in Switzerland in 2017 he recorded his first trio album, he actually plays with TGM2F, Swingaki, Guillaume Pi and a lot more.
