Michael has been experimenting with sound and music for over three decades. In the 80's, at age 14 he modified his taperecorder to make multitrack recordings. He started with a couple of cheap Casio keyboards but soon upgraded to his first real synthesizer, a Korg Poly 800. Initially he was focused on sound design and several of his sounds were published. Michael's music are complex soundscapes that take the listener on a journey. He lived and worked around the world. Many times he thought his life resembled the Thomas Dolby song "I live in a suitcase", lost in time and space. Although music is his big passion, he is also a member of the Clavani Art Collective that creates fine art photography. Clavani had several exhibitions and their work was sold to several art lovers and companies. In 2017 he co-authored the book, "Inside the Leader's Mind", published by the European Leadership Platform. Michael lives with his wife Wendy close to his hometown Antwerp.
