Who is Midwest MARC?
Real name, Marc Gratz.
Midwest Marc is a moniker I adopted when my buddy Jack used it, and I liked the way it sounded.
I don't necessarily call myself a songwriter, I'm just someone who lives for music, and so my "songs", are really more like diary entries, the stories of my life, my feelings, the things I think most about, gotten off of my chest in a way that makes sense to me.
I'll never write the next big thing. Thats not what I'm trying to do. I'm just sharing pieces of my heart and soul, through my own perspective. It is my medicine. But if someone else enjoys what they hear, and relate to it, we've found something in common to bring us together. Thats what this world needs. More togetherness. Building on our commonalities, instead of fighting about our differences.
