Mike Mic began his career in 1995 as a DJ at a nightclub in New Haven CT called Club Flava. Mike Mic was one of the first DJ's in Connecticut to play the music that we now know as "Reggaeton" in 1996 with Edward G, they decided to make a musical duo called 'Mafia Negra'. In 1997 they met DJ Flex , the first DJ to give Mafia Negra an opportunity to participate in a commercial album, that album was titled "Ruthless Headz" after participating in that album the doors were opened to participate in other musical productions such as: controlando vol.16 , Hazmat, La Epidemia, Xtrasy 2020,Mano a Mano, Destruccion Total, in 2004 Universal Latino distributed the first album presented by the duo entitled "Los Fundadores"
