Clifford Mills grew up in Henderson, TX. Baptized at age 10 at South Oak COC. He learned to sing from his father, Ernest Mills. He graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1985 with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Music Education and studied graduate level courses at the University of North Texas in 1992 and 1993. In 1987, The VOET was invited to Marsalis Ave. COC in Dallas where Bro. G. C. Washington was the Senior Minster. Bro. Washington asked Bro. Mills if he would be interested in teaching in Dallas and forming a youth choir at MACC. A Cappella Alliance quickly became known for its devotion to gospel music sang with crisp clean harmonies and unique blend, encompassing a diverse repertoire. In 2022, he organized "S3", Skilled Singers for the Savior in Dallas. S3 recently recorded live and plans to release SALVATION album in 2023. Obey Yaweh and Mistakes available in April/May.
