Mindongo formed in Phoenix, Arizona circa 2010. Comprised of members Luis and Tavo of local valley bands Curium and The Peeple respectively, this duo brings their Latin American culture to create a fusion of cumbia, grunge, rock, pop, samba, bolero, Chicago house and many other styles from around the world.
Luis via Guadalajara and Tavo via Chicago met in Arizona early on as high school students. Through their mutual love of the same music and individual musical talents, they decided to create this project.
