Othello grew up in a musical family where gospel harmonies and live music were part of everyday life. His father sang in a quartet, and Othello became the family DJ on the weekends, shaping his ear through constant exposure to music. He began exploring piano as a child after receiving a Casio keyboard from his older brother, Willie, and later served as a music director. In 2009, he began playing bass guitar and went on to independently release his first CD in 2010, followed by a second in 2011. Rooted in Christian gospel and influenced by R&B, jazz, and classical piano, Othello’s music carries themes of discipline, faith, and intentional motivation.
