Mita was born on the South Side of Chicago. She started writing poetry at the age of 9 and was published in 1997. She grew to writing short stories and then screenplays by the time she was 20. She wrote, directed and produced her first stage play in 2012 debuting at The Athenaeum Theater. She graduated from Full Sail University in 2017. She began her music career at the tender age of 18, but never took it too seriously until now. Music is her outlet and her peace. She has used her talents to heal through a lot of traumas she faced in life. Music is where she is most vulnerable.
