ModelCitizenA is a Dutch singer-songwriter, who lives in Antwerp. In the 90s and 2000s he played as a guitarist and bass player in various bands, before developing his songwriting talent. His 2 EP's 'A Minor Inconvenience' (2022) and 'Cold Comfort' (2023) are the fruit of musical influences such as 60s and 70s pop & rock, power pop and new wave. ModelCitizenA is assisted by 2 talented musical friends: Cuellito (guitar and bass on all tracks, arrangements and mixing), and MuZotiq (production, saxophone, recorder and samples). The song Emily Needs a Friend received five stars and the rating 'highly commended' from the judges of the UK International Songwriting Contest 2022.
