SLAPS is not about building an audience (every single SLAPS user is a 'musician' and therefore competition, not your audience). As such, this site is pretty useless unless you want to get critical/constructive feedback on your work pre-release. Most users will just post spam comments to increase their 'points', so don't expect any meaningful interaction if you take your work seriously. SLAPS is just a pointless circle jerk for the most part. You are better off befriending a producer and communicating directly with them for proper feedback and advice. SLAPS is not fit for purpose as it incentivises spam + artificial politeness, then discourages critical feedback. This is not helped by most users having extremely fragile egos. Don't waste your time on here. I certainly won't be. I've got nothing to gain by sharing my post-release music. Message me if you want someone to help you improve your tracks and give honest feedback.
