Mona Lisa Brown was born in Hemingway, SC on October 13, 1972. Mona was reared in the church and gave her life to Christ at 16 years old . She is the oldest of 2 children born to Rosa Lee Waterman , who was a committed single mother that believed in raising her children to LOVE God, live by the scriptures and have unwavering faith. Singing has always been important to Mona. Since the age of 5, Mona has been participating with her family at community gospel events. Mona regards her singing ability as a gift from God and she enjoys sharing her gift to minister to others. Mona is also a gifted songwriter who enjoys penning contemporary Gospel music. Mona's goal in writing, singing, and releasing music is to give her audience a message of hope. She wants the world to know that Jesus is the antidote to all problems, the redeemer of our spirits and ultimate champion to overcoming life's challenges.
