Rippa (Rip) was born in San Francisco CA on January 18th 1983. Ever since the age of 7 he had a passion for writing raps and creating songs, rather it be on Karaoke machines or on a small 4 track recorder that he purchased while working his first summer job. With a family full of singers (non professionally) and a uncle who had dabbled in Hip Hop in his earlier years, he begin to appreciate music as a whole and started to work on his craft tirelessly drawing inspiration from some of the most prominent Rappers and Rap Groups of the 90’s. Coming into his own he formed a group with his childhood best friend Yung Loota known as The Sk’s. For years the Sk’s contributed to the underground rap scene dropping 2 Mixtapes , performing at countless shows, and collaborating with some of the Bay Area’s biggest artist.
