Born and raised in the city of East Point south of Atlanta. Markus honed his love for music and passion for playing the piano from church. He also cultivated his sound by playing basketball on the streets of East Point where he would hear locals such as Andre 3000, Goodie Mob and Jagged Edge at the basketball courts. This would help to form his sound. Markus never truly fit in with the church crowd nor did he fit in with the kids at school. His sound was grew by listening to a lot of vintage funk artists mixing it with his love for smooth folk vocals like John Mayer & Maroon 5. His love for fashion, health and family grew once he understood the power of self. By taking meat out his diet and growing long locks to feel more at one with self has helped create the sound. His new EP "The Making of Brown“ will inspire love back into the man and women experience beyond the sexual interaction. After loosing his family in 2018 he vowed to always let his music speak to love, family, fatherhood
