THE MUSICAL MUSE! Carol Jean Styron—professionally known as CJ Styron—is a dynamic, multi-genre songwriter and performer whose musical journey began before most children could read. At just 2½ years old, CJ began picking out childhood songs on the piano by ear, and by first grade, she was taking formal piano lessons. By age 9, she had already composed her first classical piece—foreshadowing a lifelong passion for creating music across styles and settings. CJ’s musical talents extend far beyond the piano. Over the years, she has added guitar, violin, organ (pop & church), voice, and even a touch of bass and drums to her toolkit. Whether writing solo, performing live with her Rock/Country band Moonshine Mafia (alongside her husband), or collaborating with other vocalists and artists, CJ brings energy, emotion, and versatility to everything she creates. When she’s not in the studio or stage, CJ is inspiring the next generation!
