Muteny was founded in Sundsvall, Sweden in the summer of 2023 when Viktor Westin (guitar & vocals) came in contact with a guitarist named Leon Barthold, A bassist named Noah Nordlander and a drummer named Leon Dib. Muteny played their first gig at the Swedish club Pipeline with a packed audience leading them to getting local support from headbangers and all sorts of people. Muteny quickly started to write music and has now released their first ever single Wake Up Call, BUT!!! This is just the beginning of Mutenys musical journey. Muteny combines influences from bands like Megadeth, S.O.D, Nuclear Assault, The Kristet Utseende etc to create a creative yet old school Thrash metal sound. Ladies and gentlemen welcome to the future of Thrash metal.
