Born in the Canadian Prairies and currently living in the Yukon, Patrick’s music evokes the blend of dark and light that is existence in the true north. With a scope of influences from rock and literature, he writes catchy songs in a unique style which infiltrates your senses. His 2004 debut, As Constant as the Northern Car, garnered critical acclaim and charted on the college radio circuit of its day, while 2008’s grittier Washed Out Roads further developed Keenan’s sound. Recent life changes have seen him writing at a new, blistering pace and he is now ready to release more and more music, all of which mix shadow and sunlight, fortune and folley, night and day. Currently he is preparing to release a collaboration with poet Peter Jickling and a second album of new works. Watch for Patrick Keenan as he takes it on the road in 2024 and beyond.
