Ncome Raxs (formerly Roddog of HolySouth) is a gospel rap and inspirational rap artist based in Memphis, Tennessee. His debut solo single, ‘Like Me’, was released in 2021. Raxs has always loved music. As a kid, he would receive instruments as Christmas presents. He formed a rap group with friends in high school and, after graduating, recorded his first album. Being in the streets at the time, he made street music. But in the process of recording their last song, Raxs recalls: “My homie Nick, who was supposed to sing the hook, witnessed to me and I was saved that night. That’s the moment I began using my gifts for God. I started performing at Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church, my home church.” During the time that Raxs was performing regularly, a major concert was organized at the church - one that starred Hallelujah FM radio station and celebs. During the event, Raxs met Mr. Del, the Grammy-nominated rapper, producer and former member of the Oscar-winning group Three 6 Mafia.
