Fusing the classic sounds of Jamaica with elements of pop and electronic music, Canadian
vocalist NineTwnty-Five is starting a new wave of reggae fusion in his hometown of
Mississauga, Ontario.
With a distinctive, high-register vocal delivery and the ability to blend multiple genres into one
track, the former DJ isn’t satisfied with success alone. He wants to be recognized as one of the
genre’s great innovators - someone who pushed Jamaican music and culture forward in the
2020’s.
