Nkosi (25 years of age) is native to the West Indian Island of St. Lucia with Asianic, Spaniard and Indian heritage. The name is of South African Zulu origin meaning, ”Chief or king”. He is based in Miami Florida where his educational interest lies in producing photographic art. Music has been a guiding star alongside his journey with visual art. Specifically, Ambient music has been instrumental in finding focus and inspiration to create from an introspective place. Guitars were the first of instruments he learned to play from an early age. However, more recently his affinities lie with sound healing and atmospheric music. Currently, Handpan, Indian Bansuri, and Native American flutes are his instruments of choice. Like many, he is using music as an emotional outlet to be shared and help heal. His objective is to create sounds that are easy to receive; Light on the ears.
